Marble, formed from limestone with heat and pressure over thousands of years in the earth's crust. These pressure or forces cause the limestone to change in texture and makeup. The process is called recrystallization. fossilized materials in the limestone, along with its original carbonate minerals, recrystallize and form large, coarse grains of calcite.

Marble requires a high level of maintenance, mostly when used for flooring applications. If you are installing marble pavers in a high traffic area, be sure to use non-reflective finishes, for they require less maintenance but must be sealed.

It is advisable not to use any cheap quality cleaners such as detergents and locally available powders.
